The early church did not begin in large buildings, but in the homes of early believers. This is a great opportunity for us to observe the sacred practice of Ash Wednesday as those early Christians did—at home.
Ash Wednesday begins the 40-day journey of Lent.
On this page, you can watch the livestream, print out activities, and view a 7 day reading plan that will help you connect deeper with God.
Families, we invite you to join us for our Family Lent Challenge. Lent officially begins on Ash Wednesday and is the period of 40 days preceding Easter Sunday. In the Christian faith, it is a time of sacrifice, fasting, and discipline. Lent is a beautiful, liturgical season. It is a season full of dying to self and becoming the best version of ourselves. But – not only is it an individual journey, these forty days are an opportunity for the entire family to draw closer to one another and ultimately to draw closer to Christ.
We encourage you as an individual or family to join us for our 40 days of prayer and our GIVE something up or TAKE something on challenge.
Watch Jake Lampton, as he discusses the meaning of Ash Wednesday and Lent.
We started a reading plan on Wednesday, Feb. 17th. It is our hope that this plan will help us all learn healthy spiritual habits during Lent as we prepare for Easter!
