Sunday classes

Adult classes are on Sunday mornings from 10:45-11:45 AM.

Group: Adults  |  Leaders: Steve Gregory | Room 201

Group: Women  |  Leader: Linda Lowe | Room 203

This book will encourage us to take the next step in our prayer journey. It will encourage us to listen to the Holy Spirit and to pray with passion, confidence, and authority.

Group: Adults |  Leaders: Doug & Linda Varnado | Fellowship Hall

Pastor Doug and Linda are very excited to lead a new class beginning this Sunday, “In the Footsteps of the Savior”!  This is a study by Max Lucado that examines the moments when Scripture intersects with the places where Jesus walked. Many in the class will actually be traveling to Israel this fall, but if you are interested in the wonder of the places where much of our Story took place, please come!

Group: Adults  |  Leaders: Tom Smith | Stadium Room

This will be a “deep dive” look into the theologically-rich book of Hebrews. We’ll learn how Christ is superior to all things, both in His person and priesthood, and how faith in Jesus is still the only true hope for world. In today’s society of shifting values and morality, its timeless truths are even more relevant and applicable to all of us.

Group: Adults (Twenties & Thirties) |  Leaders: Gretchen & Clint Cassetty AND Peggy & Kirk Brown | Community Room

Some of our core goals are:
— Basic knowledge of the Bible and reading it for spiritual fulfillment
— Basic knowledge about prayer and spiritual practices and a willingness to explore them in a committed way
— A passion for justice and mercy and a commitment to serving others and the common good
— A sense that we are in this together as a people, sharing our joys and sorrows, marking the major passages in life

Group: Adults | Leaders: Flatts, Dixons, Allens, and Feagas | Room 203

This class is geared toward married couples with school-age kids, or kids that have recently left the nest, that are actively balancing family life, careers, and relationships. We will continually seek Christ’s guidance and wisdom to have
successful marriages, raise courageous kids, and enjoy His abundance in our families, careers, and relationships as we tackle life together in the 21st Century.

CCHKids will have an engaged hour for First Look and 252 during our Worship Service hour from 9:30-10:30 AM for kids Birth-5th grade.

CCHYouth will be gathering on the Youth Floor from 10:45 -11:45 AM, for a message and small group time.
