STAY WARM SHELTER
JANUARY 22 & FEBRUARY 12
We will be assisting with other churches in the Sumner County area to serve the needs of the homeless this winter. Several churches have agreed to assist First Baptist-Winchester in Gallatin with their “Stay Warm Shelter” program. Especially during the cold months of February and January, warm meals are prepared to take to, and also house, about 75 homeless guests in need. We are scheduled to serve Friday night, January 22nd and again on February 12th. It only takes 8 people together to take food, assemble the take-with bags, and serve with those who are there leading the program. We will prepare an easy meal item of Chili, Soup, or a 1-Dish Item, etc. that can easily be put into a container to carry-with and eaten whether staying inside or out. If you and/or your Life Group can serve in this vital ministry on one of these nights, please contact Brett Jones (615.405.0713), or call the church office (615.826.0042) for more info.
