The Outdoor Ministry Center Project

Deeply imbedded in the vision and mission of the Community Church, is the passion to impact our Neighbors. This reflection of the love of Jesus has always been a part of our continued commitment to love local right in our immediate neighborhood. This has been reflected incountless ministries and initiatives that not only serve our members but effectively serve those that live and work in the area surrounding us.

This vision and goal is the reason we are building the CCH Outdoor Ministry Center (OMC). We dream of a facility and space that will advance the ministries of this church family as well as serve our community and city. Many more will grow and evolve from its use as we see limitless possibilities in the immediate and future years.

Whether you find yourself directly impacted or not, it is our call as a body of believers at Community Church to expand on this site where we have determined to stay and grow. We are committed to this church family and to the city in which we live and are called to serve.

Plans for OMC

We consciously strive to reach out to God’s children both within our membership and our community. We envision a bride walking down the aisle; our children collecting eggs on Easter; our congregation gathering for a church-wide picnic, and movie nights during the warm summers. “This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God. [Then everyone] moved by the extravagance of God in your lives, will respond by praying for you in passionate intercession for whatever you need. Thank God for this gift, his gift. No language can praise it enough!”
